1. The WEISS Lathe WBL290F is a precision metalworking lathe specially designed machine with an outstanding value and able to take on light duty jobs with 290mm swing and 750mm between centers.
2. The primary purpose of WBL290F is to make concentric cuts in metal stock. With this variable speed lathe, round stock can be made perfectly concentric, threaded, drilled, knurled, bored, tapered, etc.
3. The lathe comes equipped with a full featured carriage and apron assemblies that provide super accurate custs and finishes.
4. Precisely manufactured.
5. Powerful, maintenance-free 1.5KW brushless motor.
6. Hardened D1-4 camlock spindle with Ø 38 mm spindle bore.
7. Hardened and ground V-ways bed.
8. Guaranteed concentricity of the spindle nose ≤ 0.01 mm.
9. Concentricity on the lathe chuck ≤ 0.04 mm.
10. Separate lead screw and feed rod with power longitudinal & cross feedss feed.
11. All guides can be adjusted by wedge strips.
12. Right / left rotation in the control panel switchable.
13. Hardened spindle mounted in adjustable precision tapered roller bearings.
14. Tailstock for taper turning ± 5 mm adjustable.
